This catalogue was prepared for the occasion of the exhibition Frequency held at the Studio Museum in Harlem November 9, 2005 - March 12, 2006. The exhibition, a survey of new work in two and three
dimensions, was a groundbreaking collaborative experiment in sound and featured seven DJs spinning simultaneously in symphonic orchestration. Described at the time by the director/curator Thelma Golden as “a snapshot of the current moment we live in, featuring
