Eduardo Guerra

Eduardo Guerra Hernandez was born in 1967 in Pinar del Rio, Cuba. His art studies began at age 12 at the Escuela Vocacional de Arte Raul Sanchez in Pinar del Rio. He attended the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plasticas in Havana and from 1982 to 1986. After completing the five year program, he graduated from the acclaimed Instituto Superior de Arte in 1995.
He has exhibited widely with solo shows in France, Spain and Cuba and group shows in the U.S., Portugal, Sweden, Mexico and Latin America.
He works in the long and rich tradition of the superior printmakers of his native Cuba, mastering his unique brand of ‘colografia’, a hybrid printmaking technique.
