Alexander Acosta was born in Decatur, GA in 1986. He graduated from Florida A & M University where he was
awarded the prestigious Eastman-Kodak scholarship in December 2008. He is an independent artist, photojournalist and film buff whose photographs have been the subject of gallery exhibitions. He is currently
working on a series of portraits of Atlanta firefighters.
